Hello Dear Stick Fighting Community,

 

On September 24th, 2022, we organized a friendly sparring session in Berlin together with our Polish sports friends. There were 20 participants in total.

It was deliberately a different format and wasn't meant to be a tournament. We fought in free-for-all mode. This means that everyone could challenge everyone in the individual disciplines and if the opponent agreed, then the fight was carried out according to the rules of the GSBA. The winner got a stamp on his/her slip.

At the end of the day, the stamps were added up and those with the most stamps received a non-cash prize.
We had a lot of fun and I thank the Polish team for their numerous appearance. I would also like to thank the organizer, Escrimadores Berlin e. V., sincerely for your commitment and support.

Of course, we ate together in the evening and celebrated exuberantly.
Everyone involved can imagine a similar event this year.
